Okay.
Saw Lindsey's friend Danny and his new band perform at the Whiskey on Sunset last Sunday. I guess you could call it death metal, the hard guitar and growling "singing" make it so. And it was very entertaining. Danny's got good stage presence. Plus he hooked me at the beginning when he roared, "We are Phineas Gauge.....FROM NORWAY!!" I'm pretty sure nobody from the band is from Norway, which is why I loved that. I felt a little old in the crowd of mostly kids, but it was a nice flashback to my days of being in pits and getting kicked in the head.
Guillermo del Toro. This guy rocks. He came by again yesterday, probably the last time in the next year or so since the man's heading for Europe to make his next movie, Pan's Labyrinth. He leaves in two weeks. He's one of the most decent people I've met in this industry and that's really saying something.
Today's Friday. My Linds is going out tonight to paint the town red with her girls. I'm gonna go hang out with Jeff and watch horrible movies. Ah, the good old days...
