My buddy Ben Caldwell is in town so he joined us for our usual Thursday night drawing fiasco at Priscilla's coffee shop. Ben's a ridiculously talented cartoonist and everyone around was adrool at his latest batch of drawings. We may be hitting a bar tonight to spend some more time with the guy.
I couldn't sleep anymore after Linds left so I got up to check the news on Fark. Fark's a site one of Lindsey's cousins turned me on to where people who visit can submit weird or cool or breaking news and the guy who runs the site chooses which news bits actually get posted on the website. The point is to make the headline funny or clever. I'm sure he gets hundreds of them a day so it seems like quite an honor to make the list. Well, after about 10 tries, I finally made it with this headline:
New Who album may appear next spring. Deaf, dumb and blind kids indifferent
I was a little groggy when I woke up but this definitely woke me up. I am now energized. Oh, and if you don't get the headline joke, then you probably don't know who The Who is either.
