Here Comes Dr. Tran will finally be available for sale via the internet. Hallelujah. The new DVDs have arrived and they look great. Breehn and Christy redesigned the disc artwork and it's pretty snazzy.
This weekend was a bit hectic and I didn't get much done but I did get the remaining presents for my nieces wrapped, which is good. I still need to complete the little bit of shopping left for this money-hungry holiday. I'm hoping to get more work soon and I'm definitely hoping for something steady in the new year.
I attended this animation community Christmas party at the Pickwick Center last Friday. I'm not really an animator so it felt like I was crashing. It started off kinda boring but ended up a lot of fun. The house band was good, a three piece with drums, vibes, and a bass. The guy on drums was none other than Stuart Johnson, a friend of mine from another band whom I haven't seen in months. It was good to chat with the guy. I forgot to get the phone number of the girl he used to see whom I know who grows weed now. I gotta get that. You know, for medicinal purposes. Also saw Keith, Breehn, Christy, their friend John Paul, Patrick Morgan, Stephen Silver, their friend Chad, and a few more people I didn't expect to see.(Although now that I think about it, I wonder why my pal Tad wasn't there?)
And last night I finished about 90 percent of our first ever Christmas card. It's tough not to be too cheesy with these things but I think I caught a balance and Lindsey has informed me that she likes it (since I stopped working at around 330am she only saw it this morning).
Today, I'm heading to the Long Beach Aquarium to spend the day with my nieces and their dad. I love those girls. It'll be a fun day. I wish Linds was off work already!
