Just a few days to go before we get a new president. It's baffling to me how anyone in their right frame of mind would still want Bush to run this country. Then last night I saw a clip of some Nascar racer talking about Bush. He said something like,"I shook his hand and he looked me straight in the eye and gave me a good, firm handshake and he's a good man. I'm not really an 'issues' guy." Fucking moron. This is the type of person who will not only vote for Bush but convince others like him to vote for Bush. "I'm not really an 'issues' guy." What the fuck are you voting for, you moron? Hairstyles? He goes on to say "Kerry owns a mansion and Bush lives on a farm" as another reason for Bush getting his vote. Ri-goddamn-diculous. Is this guy for real? Fucking infuriating. I can't stand it anymore. Hello, morons? You shouldn't want a President who's just like you. But I've had it. I'm down to name-calling and funny gif animations now. I've officially sunk down to that level.

Boredom can be hazardous to your copy of Adobe Imageready.

Halloween's comin'! I sort of missed it last year since I was in Vegas and didn't dress up (the first time I don't know how long) but I intend to make up for it this year. As I've gotten older I've tended to stray towards low-maintenance costumes having done some annoying make-ups and whatnots before. This year, I'm dressing up as--well, not just yet. Maybe on Sunday.

And now...Hellfrog.

Ten points to anyone who gets the Thor reference.

Lindsey and I have been dating for 11 months today. Isn't that crazy? Well...maybe I'm the only one who thinks that's crazy. Certainly some people who've known me for the last 10 years will think the same thing. But it really isn't that crazy. I found a good girl, one that'll let me sing anything I want as loud as I want. The first girl to really truly love me for who I am and not what I can give them or get them away from. That's magic, man.

Snoop's new song "Drop It Like It's Hot" is playing in the background and I'm contemplating a nice long post here since I haven't really written anything since our big mountain trip that I didn't post about. So I guess I'll start with that.

Back in August the little lady and I took a break and drove up to Crestline near Lake Arrowhead. One of the great things about California is all the different types of places you can visit that are only about an hour away. This place was about an hour and a half drive (if that) but 6000 feet up in the middle of a forest. It was a warm , gorgeous weekend and we had 3-story cabin (the lowest level being an old school arcade room! Free Centipede!) all to ourselves for next to nothing. Every day was beautiful, fun, and completely relaxing.

Here are a few of the thirty thousand photos we took.

First day, having some lunch on the balcony. Great views everyday.
And speaking of great views...

We woke up to this every morning.

We took a walk around the lake and saw some great views. Despite
the lake being man-made, it's definitely become a part of nature during
its 80 some year tenure. This shot belongs in National Geographic, if
I do say so myself.

Dead stuff can be pretty. The walk around the lake took approximately...
oh...I'd say about 13 hours. My legs were all buttery afterwards. But
it was a great walk and I wanted to do it again. But not immediately.

And the lovely couple on a day trip to Lake Arrowhead. There were lots
of shops and things and everyone there seemed perpetually happy. A
thousand miles away from LA but really only 40 or 50 miles away. We gotta
do that again.
