OVER 30 THOUSAND
Wow. It's tragic when the disaster we had here with Hurricane Katrina starts to look like a mild annoyance compared to over 30 thousand people dying in Pakistan and surrounding areas just a few days ago. I don't even know where to begin to try and help.
And I can't even imagine disaster on this level happening here. But everyone keeps telling us that we'll probably die from bird flu before the Big One sends California into the Pacific so that's fine.
