STILL POURIN'

But it's only a few days 'til I get a week off! Here's a current projects list I'm doing various visual effects on lately:

Daybreak (series)
Grey's Anatomy (series)
Last Day of Summer (movie of the week)
Dukes of Hazzard 2 (direct-to-dvd feature)
The Line-Up (pilot?)
Dexter (series)
Ghost Whisperer (series)

Enjoy this cold Hellboy and creepy Abe.

LONG WEEK

Man, when it rains it pours. Working crazy hours lately (after not really working regularly all summer). Fifteen hours yesterday. I thought I'd be more fried today, especially after working all morning, but I feel pretty good.

Here are a couple of drawings. The first is based on my friend Gary. The second's from photo ref, mostly for the hair.

CREATURES

Some critters I drew at the cafe a few weeks ago.

I would piss tears if I ever saw that bird/bear thing in person.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Lindsey started the new school year today and with that I drew some stuff for the preschool class she teaches. I sort of act like I don't like to draw this stuff when in actuality I really like drawing this stuff. We're building up quite a library of preschool themed artwork. Maybe some day I'll be able to package it into something I can shill to preschools everywhere. Because if there's one thing that needs shilling, it's preschools.

First, Linds asked for a green bird of some kind (her class is called the Greenbirds). I figured I'd make the little guy look like a kid.

Drawn with Sharpies, which I suck at.

And these two animals that start with the letter A (which this post is also sponsored by). I think we're gonna do the whole alphabet.

These will be photocopied and colored by the kids. Sharpie and Staedtler pens.
